About Steve
A producer who understands the musician’s side of the glass.
Steve Tanton is a producer, mix engineer, songwriter and professional drummer with more than three decades of experience. He has performed with Tinie Tempah, recorded live at BBC Maida Vale and worked with acclaimed producers including Brio Taliaferro, Yak Bondy, Dave Walters, Olly Smith and Joe Kearns.

Close enough to escape.
Set among open farm fields and rolling North Devon countryside, Pound House feels removed from everyday distractions. There are no neighbours in sight—just space, quiet and the freedom to work without feeling rushed. The studio is completely off-grid and powered by solar energy, making it a peaceful and naturally low-impact place to create.
The studio sits just outside the village of West Down, around 15 minutes from Woolacombe, Putsborough, Saunton and Croyde, and roughly 20 minutes from Exmoor.
Nearby B&Bs and holiday lets make multi-day sessions practical, and the village has a welcoming pub serving food. Exact directions are shared privately when a studio visit or session is arranged.
